Gingerbread Pancakes

This recipe is good. I would double the spices next time though. We also added chocolate chips and dried cranberries. Also note that this recipe makes a lot! I scaled it back to serve 6 and ended up with 18 - 5" pancakes! Plenty to freeze and pop in the toaster for a fast breakfast!

Beef Paprika

Excellent recipe! I did mine in the slow cooker on low for 12 hours (yikes!) but it turned out fine. Highly recommended! I didn't use the brown sugar (partyly because I was doing it in the crock pot and didn't want it to burn, partly because I thought the sauce was sweet enough without it.)

Great recipe, exactly what I was looking for. Nice sourness from the vinegar, sweetness from the sugar and crisp, freshness from the cucumber. I didn't have any dill, but I'm sure it would only make it better!

Butter Chickpea Curry

Awesome recipe! I made a couple of variations, but in general followed there recipe to a 't'. I used some cauliflower in place of some of the potatoes and used coconut milk in place of the cream. Other than that I followed 100%. A keeper!

Excellent! I didn't add the crushed red pepper because my son doesn't like spicy heat, but other than that I followed exactly. This recipes is enough for 1 lb of ground meat.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

They really are 'to die for'! I made it exactly as written except I used buttermilk instead of regular milk and I added about 1 tsp of vanilla. The cinnamon/sugar topping is a great finishing touch, but as other reviewers have noted, the recipe does make quite a lot of topping. I would suggest cutting the topping ingredients in half.

Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

Delicious! I halved the recipe and it made 12 biscuits (instead of doing a loaf.) I also added dried cranberries and white chocolate chips to half of the dough and raisins to the other half. Other than that the add ins and making biscuits I made the recipe exactly as written.

DELICIOUS! I made these exactly as written and wouldn't change a thing. Just be aware that the icing recipe makes a lot of icing...I think you need less thank half of what is written, you can always make more icing if you need it :o)

Greek Lentil Soup (Fakes)

This recipe is alright. The vinegar definitely adds a hit of flavour for serving, but I was hoping for something richer. I'm thinking that using stock (as others have) would make it tastier. **Updated: Aha! The key is to add enough salt and pepper! A can of tomatoes is a good addition too!

Slow Cooker Tapioca Pudding

Flavour was good but mine curdled :o( I really wanted this to work because I really like tapioca pudding. It may not have worked because I used up some egg yolks instead of using whole eggs. I will try it again sometime.

Sunflower Oatmeal Cookies

Awesome recipe! The sunflower seeds are a delicious and healthy change! I didn't have enough white sugar so I added 1/3 cup of white sugar and 2/3 cup of Splenda with no issues. Also, I flattened a few before they went into the oven and put about 1/2 tsp of jam on them and baked for the recommended time. Delish!!!

Chewy Chocolate Gingerbread Cookies

I have made this recipe a couple of times. The first time they turned out AMAZING! Love the combo of chocolate and ginger and the chewiness of the cookie. The 2nd time the flavour was good but not as chewy (was baking at a friends and maybe her oven is different than mine.) Definitely you need to try!
