I love to bake for the holidays. Desserts, cookies, & appetizers. Quite a few years back I started a cookie & ornament exchange with the women in my family & close friends. It has become such a fun get-together that we all look forward to every year. I have also now become the designated baker in the family to carry on my Grandma's wonderful recipes. Being able to re-create some of my families most loved recipes that have been passed down for generations. Some of my fat free recipes, what an awful baking fiasco! My husband & I had not been married long when I tried a fat free banana bread, it was dry, & tasteless! I was going to throw it out then I noticed my husband had been eating it! I asked him if he liked it, he said it was ok, I said that I thought it was horrible! Well, he told me he had not wanted to hurt my feelings! We had a good laugh & tossed the awful bread!
