I wasn't sure how this was going to come out, but it was amazing! I followed the recipe exactly as stated (I made my own teriyaki for the marinade). I did add two pieces of chicken per package, used heavy duty foil, and crimped and sealed them VERY tightly. They were perfectly cooked in 4 minutes. I didn't have a problem with smoking at all. The chicken was very moist and tender. I laid out (on a large platter) the chicken packages, lettuce leaves, grated carrot and scallion and let everyone make lettuce wraps. This does take a little time (wrapping the foil packs) so I enlisted the help of my husband. Fabulous chicken!

Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

AMAZING! We could not believe how great these tasted...and yes, just like Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts. I also fried the doughnut holes, filled with raspberry jam and rolled them in powdered sugar. Both were delicious. The glaze was spot on! These were very much worth the effort involved.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Amazing! I rolled the dough thicker for a softer cookie. They are puffed and so soft! The dough was a tad sticky, but I added a little extra flour and chilled for 2 hours and it was just fine. I used canned vanilla frosting (divided with food coloring for Christmas cookies). These are so very good and I've never been a fan of sugar cookies. I will make these again.

Focaccia Bread

Southern Pimento Cheese

This was so good. It makes a great sandwich and I will not buy store bought again. I made as directed, but was surprised there was not really a bite from the jalapeno or cayenne so I amped up the spice a bit!

Gorgonzola Stuffed Chicken Breasts Wrapped in Bacon

This was outstanding! I'm a bit confused by the comments about the chicken being dry. Mine was VERY moist and juicy. Even my husband couldn't believe how juicy the meat was. I will make this again!

BBQ Dry Rub

This was very good. I scaled it down to six servings and rubbed on chicken breasts before grilling. My husband and 10-year old just loved it! I did think it needed some garlic, so I added 2 TB. of garlic powder. Delicious! The one other thing I will change next time is to add some cayenne for heat. We like spicy.

Purple Apple Slaw

This is very good. I used a whole head (small) of purple cabbage and after tasting the dressing, I added an extra 1/2 tsp. of sugar. Didn't have lemon juice so I used apple cider vinegar. I'll make this again. It came together in minutes.

Mexican Rice III

Cappuccino Pie

This pie was really good. I used the larger package of pudding (yet still just one cup of millk), then folded in 4 ounces of Cool Whip and the pie was set up perfectly after about an hour.

This was pretty good. I was nervous about the dough/batter appearance and just putting a blob into the middle of a pie plate. But it spread out nicely and rose well and baked up just fine. I used one for a giant sandwich that I cut into triangles and the other to accompany soup. The best part is the dough only took minutes to make! I will make this again.

Homemade Potater Tots

I was so happy to find this recipe after my son requested tater tots with supper. These were great. After making the potato mixture I seasoned with half the salt, tasted, and it was perfect. I also tripled the recipe. I didn't have a piping bag so I just rolled them into fat cigars. Rather than chilling them in the refrigerator I put them in the freezer, got them nice and firm and didn't have much of a problem with them falling apart. I fried them in batches and kept them in the freezer until each batch was ready for frying.

Bacon Chicken and Dumplings

I used the bacon grease, but left out the bacon (I think it would have been too much bacon flavor for us) and I left out the corn but added carrots instead. It was super tasty.

Baked Apples

Simple and tasty! My son loved them. We like our apples softer so the baking time was off for us. I baked the apples at 350 for 40 minutes.

Belles Hamburger Buns

I've made a lot of rolls ~ I made these for hamburger buns and I'm a little confused with the 5 star ratings. The taste of these was really good, but they do come out very heavy and dense. I've made these twice (to possibly account for human error), and while the dough was easy to work with and light both times, the buns are not. Good taste though!
