I am married and have four kids (2 boys, 2 girls ~ although my oldest son is no longer at home). I live in Colorado and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I love having the Rocky Mountains at our back door. Cooking is a passion of mine and I am always learning new things. My specialties are my homemade sauce (for lasagne and spaghetti) and my kraut burgers (some call them bierocks). I don't have a sweet tooth so I don't make many desserts. I enjoy traditional Southern cooking, Italian, Mexican and Asian but have no "favorite" things to cook. I do love to grill and we don't wait until summer, we grill all year long. We have a Halloween tradition of making "saucy dogs" for supper (I have never seen a recipe like it on AR). It's a tradition I have kept since my own childhood and my kids just love them! I have had many! :) I have had many! :(
