Mom's Quick Pasta Sauce

I have finally found a wonderful homemade sauce!! This recipe was PERFECT, I would not change a thing. At first I thought I wouldn't have enough sauce for a whole box of pasta, but as it turned out there was some leftover. YUM.... will definitely make this again. Very diet friendly for my weight watchers core plan too!!

Original Buffalo Wings

We have used this recipe 3 times to make our wings and they come out PERFECT every time! We used Louisana hot sauce and they were hot hot hot. Will definitely be making these more often during football season.

Mexican Turkey Stuffed Shells

This dish turned out absolutely delicious! My husband has requested that I make this every week. I followed the recipe exact, the only thing I added was a taco packet and Mexican 4 cheese blend. Thanks for posting this - I have now learned a new way to create baked pasta dishes. I used the same recipe technique to make manicotti with traditional spaghetti sauce and ground beef, and also made a chicken cacciatore recipe. (I never knew you could bake noodles in the oven without cooking them first!) I am thrilled :)

Spicy Honey-Mustard Glazed Pork Ribs

I absolutely LOVED the flavor of this sauce, but was very disappointed in the end result. It didn't flavor up the ribs as much as I thought it would, so our ribs tasted as if we hadn't added any sauce at all. Next time I may consider marinating the ribs in the sauce first, because I truly did think the sauce was outstanding, I just wanted the ribs to absorb more of the flavor.

Caribbean Chicken over Coconut Rice

I made this recipe last night for dinner, and simply cannot say enough about it! My husband and I absolutely LOVED it and cannot wait to have it again!! Just a tip for anyone else who is clueless in the kitchen like me: this recipe doesn't work so well with Minute Rice. If you are going to use Minute Rice, my suggestion is to substitute water with coconut milk and cook as directed on the box from there. That's what I ended up doing since I didn't have "regular" rice in the house. Turned out perfect!!!

Kat's Island Chicken

I really LOVED the way this recipe turned out!! I actually used a bit of Caribbean Jerk spice on the chicken (because we like it HOT HOT HOT!) and it really blended very well with the fruits. It was SO easy to make - completely foolproof. I will most definitely make this again, my husband and I felt like we were on our honeymoon back in Jamaica again! :)

Very Berry Pork Chops

Wow!! I made this last night and it was outstanding! The berry glaze wasn't overpowering at all, it was just enough to compliment the pork chops nicely. It had a slightly tangy and sweet flavor to it. I will most definitely make this again! Next time I'm going to try it on chicken, I think it will turn out great. Very easy to prepare also. :)

Healthy Turkey Loaf

I really like this recipe, it was easy to prepare and very flavorful. My husband liked it too, which is pretty surprising - he doesn't like "healthy" foods! This is something I will definitely make again in the future.

Apricot Chicken II

I was a little skeptical at first about making this because of the vinegar in the recipe. Well, I tried it and LOVED IT! My husband and I thought it turned out fantastic, had a nice sweet and sour flavor to it. This is definitely something I'll make again.

Sweet Ham Recipe

I did not like this recipe at all. The combination of orange juice and pineapple left a very bitter flavor. I thought that adding some more brown sugar would help, but it didn't. I ended up pouring the entire thing out of the crockpot and just putting in water, brown sugar and honey to save my ham. At least I can say this much - the ham cooked very well in the crock pot despite the fact that my pot seems to burn things often.

Caribbean Turkey Burgers with Tropical Salsa

I would give this 5 stars, except that I really didn't like the salsa. The burgers are OUTSTANDING though, and I make them once a week! I have decided to use a store-bought salsa with pineapples and peaches in it (mild) and that seems to work out great with it.
