Oh, I am a middle aged, ordinary wife and mother of three cats; Bogey, Bacall & Katharine Hepburn (we call her Kitty Kate). I love to cook, especially with my husband. And we are definitely foodies! I do a lot of charity work and one of my favorite events is the March of Dimes Signature Chef's Auction. I am usually on the chefs recruitment committee. I have made friends with some awesome chefs in Columbus. One in particular has now moved to Hawaii and we hope to visit him in April!!! Italian sauces, homemade pastas, appetizers/mini bites, oh-just about anything! And I like to cook for my 5 y/o godson's preschool class. They love it! Thanksgiving is my most favorite holiday! My husband and I cook a very traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings. He is the gravy master and I am the noodlemaker :-) We fill our house with family and friends and savor the day! My husband and I catered the appetizers for a friend's wedding last year. We pulled it off! It was gorgeous, tasted awesome, and I never want to do it again!!! Last year on Thanksgiving the oven didn't cycle back on when cooking the turkey. We didn't discover it for a few hours! Dinner was hours late and only the white meat was done. We had just enough for dinner; and we usually have enough for everyone to take home leftovers.
