I am a newlywed who is loving playing house and cooking all the time! I am a glutton for cooking compliments so much so that I have invited my husband's single friends over every Monday so they can get a home cooked meal! My own inventions. Easy Slow-Cooker Ham and Basil Goat Cheese Pizza are two of my specialties. Of course Molten Chocolate cake ranks up there too! I have always loved our holiday cooking traditions. My grandmother used to do all of it, but after my grandmother was diagnosed with alzheimers, my family has treasured stepping in and doing this for her to repay the many years of service to us. My ham. No question. hmmph. Ok... I once made this amazing pumpkin pie! I worked on it all day. I was getting ready to go and realized I had forgotten my coat. I set the pie down next to me (yes, you all see where this is going) and as I was putting on my coat I took a step. Needless to say my pie suffered greatly. To this day, my family won't let it go. The thanksgiving pies are still my responsibility and someone every year thinks it 's funny to remind me not to step in it. They are hilarious.
