Kansas Tomato Sandwich

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2009
I love these sandwiches. Except I usually use mayo instead of butter and don't toast the bread but have when the mood stricks. My husband thinks I am weird but this just proves I am not!

A-Number-1 Banana Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2008
Very Good! I did not have 4 bananas so put in the 3 I had and added a bit extra buttermilk for moisture. It tastes great. I had to cook a bit longer but maybe my oven is a little off. Also, we have tried it with adding peanut butter when we have had no nuts in the house, that was all good too.

Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Tortilla Chips

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2007
A nice change to chips and salsa. I baked the chips and add a bit of strawberry preserves to give it a bit of liquid but omited the sugar. I also tossed the apples and bananas with the line juice then incorporated it to prevent them from turning brown. The chips are my favorite. Will make again.

Very good. They came out wonderful. I did plump the raisins and didn't have any cloves but they disappeared quickly. Very tasty!!!!

Cucumber Dip II

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2007
I loved this recipe. I needed something to bring to a social gathering and it was gone after just a bit. I did omit the onion because I did not have any but added onion powder which worked nicely. I also added dill. Very Tasty. Also made it with low fat cream cheese and light mayo so it would be too bad for you. This is a keeper.

Easy No Bake Cookies

Reviewed: May 27, 2007
I loved this recipe. I love the pudding mix flavor. I did add a bit more oats and boiled it for 3 minutes from the time that everything was boiling nice and bubbly. I have also made this with the milk amount being a mixture of milk and strong coffee. Also, I made a peanut butter sauce (I think there is one listed on this site) and drizzled that over the top instead of adding PB to the cookies. That was snazzy and really good. Thanks!!!

Make-Ahead Meatballs

Reviewed: May 14, 2007
I thought this was a good one. I added some oregeno and thyme to give it an italian flaw but they are good to heat up. I notice they were a bit dry but maybe I cooked them a bit long, they stuck to the pan so maybe some of that release tin foil from reynolds.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

I did not have any steak sause so I just added a bit of Worstishire sauce, pretty good. Definatly make more sauce for dipping. I baked mine and it was good. I went light on the honey and did it by taste. I will make again. Thanks.

This was easy to make! We had just over a cup of fresh lemon juice and decided to try this recipe. It was delicious. My friend and I will write this down to use again. :-)
