About this Cook
Recently graduated college, recently vegetarian.
My favorite things to cook
Soup!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad and mom made family meals a daily event; I grew up on nutritious, home cooked food.
My cooking triumphs
The black bean soup from this site went well, got lots of compliments. All the soups I make are usually pretty awesome. =)
My cooking tragedies
I added TVP to spaghetti sauce once thinking the texture would add to my spaghetti eating experience. It did not and ruined about a pound of marinara.

Drop Biscuits and Gravy
I made these this morning- vegan style. SmartBalance organic for the butter, soy milk for the milk, and soysage for the sausage. Delicious! The only give-away to the veganness of this was that I used vanilla soy milk without thinking... Soooo the gravy was a bit sweet. Fun, though! Thanks!
