About this Cook
I grew up in a home where something was always cooking, but I usually did not participate in the process. This all changed when I got married. I suddenly realized how fun and rewarding cooking great food can be.
My favorite things to cook
Bacon & Spaghetti. It is time consuming, but definitely worth it!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holdiay cooking has always been a favorite tradition. Starting at the beginning of November, I start baking various breads and making holiday candy. It's my favorite time of the year.

Zucchini Corn Fritters
The flavor in these fritters was wonderful. I love the blend of the corn and zucchini together. However, my mixture came out way too thin (even after draining the kernal corn). I followed the recipe, so I do not know where I went wrong. In an attempt to thicken the batter, I added a can of creamed corn. I then fried them like pancakes. This one is worth another try and I will work on getting the recipe thicker.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars IV
These are great. I added my peanut butter into my hot butter so that it would blend smoothly. I also allowed these to set for a few minutes in the freezer before cutting them. I then placed them in the fridge so that they could finish setting.

Flavorful Tomato Soup
This soup was easy, came together quickly, and had a great taste for semthing so simple. To give it a little more substance, I added a drained can of petite diced tomatoes. I gave it a 4 because it seemed a bit thin. I wish it would have been more creamy.
