Wow. The taste is great, prep is a breeze. I also used real apples and threw some chopped pecans on top after baking. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

these are really good! I used 1/2 oil, 1/2 applesauce and threw in some pecans. Moist as can be, and a wonderful flavor. I was never a fan of ban. muffins but these are wonderful. Thank you for sharing!

Biscotti

These are simple to make and soooo good! Cut them thinner and they are crisper, cut them thick and they are more cookie texture. Lend themselves well to any flavor, too. Thank you for sharing!

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Did this for T-Giving (along with a slow cooker ham in a second pot). Good but so tender it tended to make shredded meat rather than slices. Maybe slice it sooner and then finish cooking? I will make this again.

This was super easy and very good. Did a 7 lb bone in, shank ham for T-Giving. Will do a bigger one next year as it went fast.

I can't stop eating these gems!! Look up the term 'melt in your mouth' and these will be mentioned! I added double the vanilla and splash of almond flavoring. also, worked very well to use the cookie scoop thingie as mentioned by another reviewer.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
What a nice little recipe! Used my bread machine, and like others, was a bit concerned about using non-machine yeast and flour. But wowee- it made some darn good eating. Nice soft, fluffy dough to work with and the baked roll....ahhhh. Note: I did think the crescents were too big (though a cheese stick stuck in one and microwaved a bit was just a little piece of heaven)so will make 12 per round rather than 8 next time.

Sure makes them nice and tender. Works better with thinner chops rather than the extra thick. They tended to dry out for me.

I am known for my apple crumb pies so was hesitant to try a new recipie. But with all these great ratings I had to try it. Wow! Gooood pie! My hubby was really torn between my old standby and this one. Decided he would have to have several more test pies... Thank you, dear Grandma Ople!

Bread Machine Bagels

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2008
These are simple and delicious! I did one batch in the machine and one batch with the Kitchen Aid. Both came out great. I threw in raisins and cinammon. I sprinkled with a cinn. brown sugar mix before baking. Then about 15 minutes before done, I spread them with the same mixture that had been mixed with butter. That made a gooey, yummy topping. Tasted like cinn. rolls!

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2008
The addition of mayo gives it a neat flavor. I loved the versitility - left out the onions (hubby dislikes), added ham and microwaved for about 20 min. until potatoes were tender. As good as it was, I am betting baking it makes it even better.
