If 5 stars is all I can give, then 5 stars it is. 2 years ago, at 55, I married my high school sweetheart. After finding this recipe, I wanted to surprise him with it, but knew it would take two of us to prepare. (That made it all the more fun!) The sauce will be excellent on other meats as well. At $21 a pound for filet mignon, the meat manager at Hy-Vee suggested a thick top surloin. We seared it a little in a pan, then stuffed it and finished on the grill. My grandma taught me how to thicken "things" in a hurry with cornstartch; worked like a charm!!!
