I made this ice cream as the recipe states with the only exception of doing half heavy cream and half half-n-half. This didn't leave a film in my mouth as the whole heavy cream usually does. Excellent recipe and the family loved it. Thanks!

This was AWESOME! I made a few changes but it was gone in a flash. AND, it was better the longer it sat around! The changes I made are as follows: I used the Tex-Mex cheese, green onions instead of regular onion, omitted the green pepper, and I used Hidden Valley Spicy Ranch dressing instead of the Catalina. This was great! Thanks! I'll be keeping this one!

My guests LOVED this recipe. I did make a few changes as follows: For the avocado, I made a guacalome recipe and put that in it's place. I also added a drained can of Mexican Corn and black beans I also added a layer of shredded lettuce to the top under the cheese. It could have been a whole meal in itself! Wonderful! I'll keep this one handy! Thanks!
