I love to cook just about anything. I really like to fix appetizers/finger foods. I love cocktail parties. I also love any ethnic cuisine.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every New Years Eve we stay in and have a huge seafood feast. I did this with my parents and now me and my hubby have continued the tradition.
My cooking triumphs
I went to culinary school for a year with a 4.0 gpa. I really wanted to finish, but had to withdraw for financial reasons. I hope to maybe go back someday.
My cooking tragedies
I can't say I have ever really made anything that I hated, however, one time I baked a casserole and then took it out and set it on the stove. I didn't realize I set it on a burner that was left on. I was in the other room and heard an explosion. I walked in the kitchen to find a shattered dish and casserole sliding down the wall.

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating
Very very good! I used a whole plank of salmon and omitted the butter but no other changes. It was gobbled up fast here!

Clam Sauce with Linguine
I made this almost as the original recipe. I did use half butter and half EVOO and I used whole baby clams instead of chopped canned ones.
