the best thing i've ever put in my mouth! OMG. i didnt want it to end, i was getting depressed when i was almost finished!!!! i did cut the apples into a little bit smaller wedges, and put about 3 in each roll. heavenly....

Homestyle Potato Chips

just made these, served with french dip sandwiches for football day. OMG. very good! make sure you fry them a little longer then you think you need to, or they wont turn out crispy enough!

Banana Split Bars

whoa.....excellent! i made mine in a pie dish, so it was banana split pie....also, i didnt have pineapple, but used fresh strawberries instead....outstanding. next time i will use the pineapple. im sure it is perfect either way. wait, how bout both? thanks pam, we all loved this recipe!

Fresh Tomato Salsa

outstanding! i used jalapeno peppers cuz they didnt have serranos. but followed everything as is and it was perfect! my hubby ate the whole bowl in one sitting. had to make another for everyone else!thanks, wont buy it at the store again! oh, yeah, i did use my hand held mixer to puree half of the mixture cuz i like it a little juicier....

Grandma's Gnocchi

made these the other day and thought they were good. mine came out a tad on the mushy side. i dont know if i cooked the potatoes too much, or added too much flour. or possibly i cooked them 1 or 2 minutes too long. wish they were a bit firmer. im sure it was something i did. good recipe tho.

Super Al's Cocktail Sauce

oh my god! why in the world have i been buying cocktail sauce from the store? this is so simple, with such a kick, this will knock your socks off! i will never, ever buy from the store again. i didnt have dark brown sugar, used light brown instead and it still turned out wonderful. thanks super al!

Spanish Rice II

perfect! the only thing i do different is i use bacon grease in place of the oil and i use 1 cup of chicken broth and 1 cup of water...really adds to the flavor. thanks for a keeper, will never use boxed spanish rice ever again!

Skyline Chili I

wow! my hubby always told me, "there are NO beans in real chili". we live in michigan, and this chili is like the chili they use in the authentic coney restaurants. iam so impressed with this. only difference is i also used about a pound of chorizo sausage with the ground beef and it turned out wonderful. thank you very much for a family favorite!

D' Best Chicken N' Dumplings

excellent! i used 3 bone in breasts. i also used all the dough and glad i did, love the dumplings. i do like it thicker...no problem added about 2 tbls of flour with a cup of milk and it thickened up nicely. also,i threw in 3 boullion cubes while simmering.... well done, it was a big hit!

holy smokie! these were the best! so much better than the usual smokies in BBQ sauce. very easy! i made a trial batch a couple days ago, and i will be making these for superbowl tonight! thanks for my new favorite smokie dish!

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

well Sarge. once again, a great big hit for dinner! i have been using this recipe for awhile now and i figured i'd finally give it what i deserves! the best, most easy pulled pork recipe! i used shoulder cut today and it was fabulous! so easy, so tender so good! did i mention easy? i just salt and pepper it, put in the beef broth and coffee...slow cook on high for about 2 hours, and low for another couple hours, and its done! thanks so much for one of our family's favorite's! i wish i could give you 10 stars!

i made these for work christmas party, and a retirement party, and i swear, next time im going to just print out recipes to give to everyone! this is how good this is. the BEST meatball recipe, ever. period. do not look any further then this one. it is the best!

Three Bean Salad

i made this for easter today, easter is tomorrow. i was hungry so i tried some after about 4 hrs in the fridge. wonderful! this is exactly what i was looking for! like the others, i only used 1/2 cup of sugar and used chick peas in place of the wax... very, very good!

Banana Pudding IV

OMG! this is THE best banana pudding i have ever tasted! to all the people out there looking for a recipe...STOP! look no further because there isnt a better one out there. the only thing i changed was i didnt put the whipped topping on top. crushed waffers... either way, yummy..thanks!

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

I love these!! the only difference is i do my taters in the microwave, and i use the bacon bits in a jar, i have made them with regular home cooked bacon, which iiisss much better, but in a pinch, bacon bits are good too! thanks for a great recipe!
