About this Cook
Just married and enjoying the challange of having to cook for two different people! My husband and I enjoy cooking and attempting new healthy recipes. (although with his job, i am in the kitchen the most!) He loves the homemade meals!
My favorite things to cook
Desserts. Pretty much any kind. :)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Without a doubt, that of making doughnuts christmas eve. As the story goes, we did it one year when i was about 4, and then i declared we had to do it ever year. ( guess I have always been smart! ;)
My cooking triumphs
Well, my garlic bread is almost world renoun. And my roommates pretty much crave my chocolate chip pancakes. :)
My cooking tragedies
wow, i have tons, but can't think of any right now. But pretty much if it can be done, I have. :)

Green Bean Stir-Fry
Easy and very good. Might add a little ginger next time to add a little something more.. but very good as is.

Basic Crepes
pretty good recipe, easy to adapt and fill with whatever. But for good Crepes, the trick is to mix them in the blender, and then let it sit for at least two hours in the fridge! Makes them light and airy :)

Yam Soup
I loved this! I too added fresh garlic, and also added in some celery. I didn't add much extra broth, because i wanted it to not be very soupy. But it would of been easy to add adjust the consistency. Its a nice something different meal. Delish!
