I started cooking when I was 3 years old. The first thing I made was Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies. My mother was a very accomplished cook & she always encouraged my interest in cooking. Soooo, I love to cook and make up recipes and re-invent recipes all the time. Meatloaf/All Cookies/Cheesecakes/Cakes/One Pot dishes/just about everything!!! All the cooks in my family started out young. Food is love and a family thing. My first Angel Food Cake...wow!!! The first cake I learned to make was the Boston Cream Cake...great!!! Since these there have been millions. Whoaaa...my first was when my mother was in the hospital and I was doing all the cooking for my family, I was 13 years old. I had watched my mom make Pork Chops with Sliced Potatoes (a family fav) many times. Well, I floured and fried the chops...beautiful, then I sliced the potatoes layered them over the chops seasoned them and added "oil" to cover them for steaming. hahaha This must have been one step I didn't see...because as we all know "water" should have been used...hahaha what a mess!!!
