About this Cook
I'm a law student who just recently got married. I love being married to my husband- he's my best friend.
My favorite things to cook
I love experimenting with different spices. I get excited when it's time to try out a new recipe.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love cooking Polish food. However, as a law student, that's not always an option!
My cooking triumphs
I am good at cooking chicken and beef. I also love baking- I make great zucchini bread!
My cooking tragedies
Sigh...this is embarrassing- My friend and I made blueberry cheesecake one time and somehow, it ended with the as an upside down blueberry cheesecake. It was delicious but not the most eye catching!

Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon
This recipe was okay. I accidently used Havarti instead of gouda. This may have been the problem. Overall, the recipe was good but I still feel like it lacked a certain something.

Risotto with Tomato, Corn and Basil
This was pretty good. I doubled the garlic and didn't put onion (personal preference). My advice would be: DO NOT PANIC at the amount of fluid that goes into this recipe. It should all absorb in the end. Other than that, good recipe-- I will probably make it again.

Orange Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake
This was really yummy! I made some changes based on the reviews: 2 tablespoons orange juice, 2 teaspoons orange extract, and the zest of one orange. Also, I used dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet- it gave it a more european flavor. Overall, a really good cake!
