I recently got married and I love trying out new recipes on my husband:) I love love love to bake! Well obviously-cookies, cakes, pies, and specialty desserts. My mom and usually my sister come over a couple of weeks before Christmas and we bake all day. When we are done we have buckeyes, christmas cut-out cookies, some kind of fudge, truffles, divinity-if we have the time, and pecan snowballs. My toffee crunch tiramisu. My husbands melts at the sight! The flavor combo of coffee and chocolate is irresistable! Ive loved this recipe since the first time I made it and I used to hate coffee. I was preparing a romantic dinner for my husband and it was the first time I had tried to fix cornish hens. They werent completely dethawed and so they didnt really cook too well...everything else turned out so we just picked what we could off of them. Oh well.
