We really enjoyed this. It was a late decision after a busy work day and it was so easy and turned out really great. Everyone wanted seconds. I made mac and cheese from this site a few weeks ago and we liked this more and it actually cost less to make than the earlier one we tried. Changes were... added bread crumbs and fried onions to the top. As suggested by others... cooked at 350. The only problem was that the evap. milk didn't get absorbed and swam at the bottom of the pan??? Perhaps I didn't cook it long enough?? Not sure. Will be making this again!!

Easy Roasted Pork

wow!! Sometimes it amazes me how the simplist dishes can be the best!! I doubled the recipe because I had a 4lb roast. The only change that I made was to put this in the slow cooker for about 5 hours on high. The "gravy" was thin but I really enjoyed the consistency over egg noodles. It was a hit here at our home!!!

Chicken and Mushroom Saute

Darra's Famous Tuna Waldorf Salad Sandwich Filling

This was really good. I also think it would be good with diced ham as well. I think this might be better on crackers.. it does lose itself wrapped in a big roll.

Fettuccini Carbonara

Really great. I was looking for a last minute dinner idea so i used the ingredient search and wa la. I would definately double the sauce as everyone else has said. Used lots of s&p and extra parm right before serving. great week night dinner

Broccoli Casserole

Wonderful dish!!! Very versatile. I had a bunch of leftover broccoli, as well as brussel sprouts and zuccini and I was looking to use them all up before they went bad. Only had cream of chicken so I added a can of mushrooms to it. Added more crackers on top. Delish! My family loved it but I didn't have too much because of the fat content. In the future I will try using all lower fat ingredients. As someone else tried.. I will see how it is with nonfat sour cream. Thanks for the recipe Laura!!

Kickin' Collard Greens

Wow.. delish!! Okay.. I did substitute quite a bit. I had a can of collard greens.. didn't have the fresh so I had to improvise. Used at least 6 slices of bacon. Sauted the onion and garlic in bac grease. Added greens. Didn't need broth because they were canned. Added S&P. These were GREAT!!

Acorn Squash with Apple

Just wanted to update this review... Still had some leftover and I was looking for a dessert type thing. So.. I made some oatmeal and added this on top with a little whipped cream. It was delicious We really loved this! Took the suggestions and added maple syrup. Also used some "splenda" instead of brown sugar. The boiling method to remove skin was great.. worked well :-) Very easy and really yummy!

Mushroom Orzo

Really yummy but as everyone else said... way too much butter. The orzo almost slipped off my spoon. I know we would enjoy it better if we had used perhaps half the butter called for. Great taste though!!

Spaghetti Squash I

I am pretty surprised at how much we enjoyed this. It was a last minute dinner decision after work. My daughters a vegitarian so I sometimes find it difficult to come up with something quick that's tasty. This was it. Didn't have feta so used lots of parm cheese at the end. Different type of dish for us but really good!

Garden Basket Pasta with Clam Sauce

Really yummy! I've never made clam sauce with veggies before but I like the color and flavor that it adds! Only thing I changed was using bowtie pasta and cilantro instead of parsley. Of course... served with lots of parm cheese. Thanks for the recipe!!

California Chicken

I rated this 4 stars because of the beautiful presentation, ease to prepare and the taste. I marinated for a few hours in a cilantro based sauce (love cilantro!!) I added much more garlic, salt and pepper than was called for just because we like our food well seasoned. Great little dish and it really does look pretty. Served over our favorite white rice.

Fried Pork Chop

Wow... soo good. Amazing because it is just so simple. Like others... i added lots of onion/garlic powder to the flour. Fried until golden brown in canola oil..( we like it better.) I can't believe that after all my years of cooking and all the recipes that i've made over the year that I've never just simply fried pork chops. Give it a try... really yummy!!

Asiago Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Very good.. everyone enjoyed. I enjoyed it even more after I added more shredded asiago cheese and s&p before serving. Another similar recipe that I enjoy from this site is Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream.

Pasta with Asparagus

Who would have known this would be so yummy?? But it was!! While at work I went to the all recipes spinner on my iphone... plugged in the ingredients and found this. Gave the recipe to my 16 year old daughter and it came out fantastic!!! I am on weight watchers so we used whole wheat spaghetti. Took some other's suggestion and added garlic and red pepper. Used baby portabella mushrooms. Also.. we didn't have a lot of parm cheese so when we were ready to eat we grated some gouda on top and popped it in the oven at 350 for 15 minutes. We'll definately be making this one again.

Cheryl's Spinach Cheesy Pasta Casserole

I was looking for a veggy dish for my daughter who doesn't eat meat (eggs ok) and found this. Very good, quick, simple. I used pepper jack cheese in place of just plain cheddar. Delish!

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

yuuuummmmmoooo!!!!!! Great, easy soup. I followed the recipe except for... adding more broth (from the box) than was called for and at the end... added some frozen corn. Can't wait to serve it for dinner with fresh rolls!! Thank you so much Stephanie for the recipe

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Really great!! I was hesitant to try because it looked so simple so i thought it would just be okay. Well it was better than okay... it was really yummy!! Because of the other reviews saying that it was a bit bland.... I tripled the garlic... added more salt and pepper. it was great. thanks!!
