My family is Italian and my mom is a great cook. We get together almost every Sunday for family dinners (and to play cards) and all the women help with the meal. Our Christmas Day tradition is not to have Turkey, but homemade Ravioli. Some stuffed with meat and some with cheese. On New Years day we always have homemade chicken soup (called "Jungle Soup" ) because of the chopped spinach and tiny meatballs.
