So simple, yet so delicious! Everyone raves about this when I make it and it keeps well for many days. Also made a batch with smashed cookies and it was awesome!

I made these without the nuts and they were delicious! The edges were crispy and the insides were chewy and soft.

I've loved these cookies since I was young and I always wanted to get the recipe. I finally got this one and tried it. My mom seemed sceptical but everyone was so pleased with the way they tasted! It's so simple and yet so delicious! I gave some away to friends with Christmas gifts. I can't say enough about these wonderful cookies! Thanks!
