I am a mother of 5 and we have 9 all together in my house. I am into home made anything and love old fashioned country cooking. I like to get my kids involved in the preparation process, so they can learn a little along the way. We believe in the traditional Sunday dinners after church and big breakfasts on the weekends!

Easy Corn Pudding
This was a truly easy and simple recipe. I liked the fact that it didn't call for eggs, giving it a more 'pudding' texture. I double the recipe making it in a 9x13 and adding 10 more minutes to the cook time. Its always a hit at get-togethers!

Apple Crisp IV
I made this recipe but tweaked it a little. They should change the recipe to read *3* sticks of butter, so to cut down on the confusion. I like my apple crisp to be sweet and thick so I added 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup cornstarch to the apple mixture. It gave it a more "apple pie" consistancy. I used very tart granny smiths from my back yard so they needed the extra sugar. This was an awesome turn out-no left overs!
