My old waffle recipe had me jumping through "special" steps in order to make the "perfect" waffle. I got tired of it taking so long to put together and came on here to find a different recipe. THIS ONE IS AWESOME!!! Quick to put together, fluffy, and slightly crispy on the outside. Plus I doubled the recipe and used 2 cups flour, 1 cup buckwheat, and 1 cup fine ground whole wheat. I wasn't really expecting them to turn out so well because I was making the batter "heavier." I'm keeping this one and throwing away my old recipe.
