About this Cook
My cooking tragedies
I once tried to make orange chicken for my family. I had no prior experience using citrus rind and had no idea that i was supposed to avoid the white pith. We ended up throwing away the awful bitter mess.

Caldo De Res (Beef Soup)
Excellent, tasty, and inexpensive recipe. This is my new comfort soup-instead of chicken noodle!

Triple Berry Crisp
Very easy and tasted wonderful. Mine didn't "crisp" up the way I would have liked it to. I don't know what I did wrong, but I will definitely still make this again.

Braided Easter Egg Bread
I made this the day before Easter and it looked great. Everyone thought I bought it at a bakery. I made sure to rinse the heck out of my colored eggs before I put them in the dough. They were a little pale, but still had some color to them. On Easter, I warmed it just slightly and it was a little dry. The eggs turned out fine. I will make this again if I intend to eat it the day I bake it.
