Beet Bundt Cake

I have NEVER anticipated my next purchase of beets so much! This recipe yielded the most moist and flavorful chocolate cake I have ever made. I made cream cheese frosting and thinned a TINY bit with milk. I put into a ziploc bag, snipped the corner and drizzled all over for a gorgeous presentation. I brought this to a potluck with our CSA. By the time I ran to my car and back, I was reaching for the last sliver! Decadent, moist, delicious... and best of all, my 4 year old would have eaten the whole thing if she could have! Next time, I will try with some applesauce substitution.

Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce

I have tasted many homemade sauces before and just wondered... what's the point? I now am a believer. I tasted the sauce while on the stove and felt a shiver of flavor satisfaction surge through my body... not an experience I have ever had before. This sauce is perfect.

Hot Mocha Drink Mix

I love this recipe! I think that any recipe with chocolate benefits from a pinch of salt. It brings a great "depth" of flavor. Also, I prepare mine with milk instead of water. I think this is fantastic!

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Quite simply- devine! My only suggestion would be to add about 1/4-1/2 cup finely diced red onions (personal preference. I also lightly sprayed both sides of my bread with Olive Oil spray before toasting. This recipe is delicious!

California Grilled Veggie Sandwich

This is the best sandwich EVER!!!!! I love it! The only things that I did was swap the bread for a whole wheat bread (budget constraints) and I think that it allows the vegetables to stand on their own. Instead of grilling the veggies, I layed them on a small roasting pan (single layer), sprayed them with Pam and sprinkled freshed rosemary on them. I roasted the veggies (turning once) until they were tender. After trying this recipe, we ate it 3 more times within 3 weeks. I just cannot get enough of it!

Portobello Stacks

I love this recipe and have made it for years. I take thin slices of chicken that I have cooked and set them on top of the mushroom. I am going to try the recipe next time with basil like others have suggested. Super yummy!
