Garlic Cheese Grits with Shrimp
Excellent. Took advice of other reviews cooking grits in partial chix broth and reserving some broth for the gravy. Gravy: Added 1/2 c. chopped mushr. Combined one fresh tom with half can Rotel tom and green chilies/mild. Diced 2 scallions. Added 2 Tbl Worc Sauce, no lemon. Simmer for 15+ and adjust flavor. Wow.

Oatmeal Fruit Cookie Mix In A Jar
These are delicious and everyone ate them up. They wanted to make the recipe for themselves. Recommendation: place 2 sugars at top of jar as the best way to mix cookie dough is sugar and butter, then add egg, other liquid, and then dry ingredients. Also with wheat germ you must keep jar in fridge, so advise giftee to take jar out of fridge in advance of fixing, room temp is best for getting sugar out of the top, etc.

Perfect Cherry Pie
Incredibly delicious substantial crust and very tangy cherry filling. I didn't have the oven tiles, but baked on a flat pan and it cooked properly. After cooling an hour, we cut the first piece and the cherries dumped out (the filling was still pretty warm). Didn't care, but if I was doing it for company, I would make in advance and refrigerate so that wouldn't happen, hopefully. The best!!!
