I visited my mom and she made this (she's also an allrecipes geek like me) for breakfast. What a hit! I love that the prep work is done the night before and you just pop it in the oven in the morning. The only thing I altered was to cut back on the sugar a little. Just a tad sweet for my family. We love it! :)

What a superbly easy and tasty recipe. We've made it over and over. One hint if you're using a blender instead of a food processor add half the cream to the blender first and then drop in the frozen berries while the blender is running. Add the remaining cream and sugar as called for. I don't have a f.p. and when I tried it the first time in my blender the berries kept getting stuck and the cream froze onto the berries. But I learned and I love the custardy ice cream. :)

A little tricky to get right but once I figured out the importance of timing the boiling ingredients they turned out great. I boiled mine for 1 min 15 sec and they didn't set up too gooey or too crumbly. The taste was good. :)
