Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
These are wonderful!! I boil the potatoes, with skins, in chicken broth (w/the garlic)...the perfect flavor addition. Added a bit more butter than the recipe calls for...other than that...followed recipe & these are AWESOME!! They are a staple in my home...

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
And I have never made homemade stroganoff before! I made some changes, based on Jillybean14's review, who summed up the 500+ reviews on here (thank you!). To do what Jillybean did, and save others some time, here is what all these reviews say to do: 1)Add some salt, pepper, and garlic to the pot. 2) Double the meat. 3) Double the soup and water but keep worchestshire and cream cheese the same. 4)Add 1/2 packet onion soup mix to mixture. 5)Cook on LOW only for 5 hours. 6) Add a dollop of sour cream also when adding cream cheese. 7) Add sauteed fresh mushrooms (about 4-6 oz) 1/2 hr before serving. 8) Serve over egg noodles.

Carla Laree's Meatballs

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2010
Wonderful meatballs! I used all lean ground beef, added extra garlic (YUM!) & minced onion. I also used onion salt & lots of pepper. Followed the rest of the recipe to a tee...delicious! I made fairly large meatballs, not Texas jawbreaker size, but BIG...and they cooked for 35 mins. at 350...perfectly moist & cooked. Added to Emeril's homemade Marinara...then made the best meatball subs ever!! Thanks for the recipe Carla!

Corn Casserole II

Everyone loves this!! I use Green Giant Super Sweet Nibblers Corn, 1/4 to 1/2 jar of pickled japs & sprinke with paprika before baking. Serve with FRITOS...sinfully delicious!!! I am asked to bring this to any pot luck occasion & never leave without giving out the recipe to more than one person.

Broccoli Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
VERY GOOD! Left out the celery - added a 1/2 jar of cheez whiz to the 16 oz. of velveeta (reviews said - may need more cheese). Left everything else the same & it was SUPER. Thanks for sharing!

Chicken Milano

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2006
Good & Easy...make sure to use dried tomatoes rather than jarred - which are difficult to dice and saute. I used angel hair pasta - my family loved it! Served with asiago bread and ceasar salad. Only gave it 5 stars b/c I can only say it was good, not great.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2005
WOW! This is the BEST pork tenderloin I've ever tasted. I used pinot noir and I let cook for 5 1/2 hours on high. This recipe works best with smaller tenderloins. Followed recipe to a tee and it is wonderful...kids & husband raved about it!!

Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2005
Yummy! A good, old faithful potluck dish..always a hit. However, I sub cream of mushroom for the cream of chicken and cubed hashbrowns for shredded. I also add a little cajun seasoning & garlic powder to make a fantastic recipe even better.
