Great home-style recipe. We made the following changes: 1/4 cup cream instead of an egg in the meatballs, 1/2 cup instant rice, added 1 can water to the tomato sauce and only 1 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce.

Excellent recipe! Following other review suggestions, I only used 1/2 cup white sugar and the recipe was still plenty sweet. Great Thanksgiving dish!

Delicious recipe!! My husband LOVED the flavor of this bread. We dipped it in butter chicken...yum! Only needed about 3 1/2-4 cups flour for the recipe.

Excellent recipe! We made a few alterations: we doubled the meatball recipe and used 1/3 cup grated onions (instead of onion powder). We also added another 2 cups water to the soup. Thanks for sharing this delicious and simple recipe!

I loved the flavor and texture. Goes great with vanilla icecream and maybe a sauce on top.

I did make a few changes to this recipe. Like other reviewers had suggested, I also added 6 strips of bacon at the very end (along with 1 Tbsp. chives and 1 cup of grated cheddar). Lastly, I prepared bacon and cheese for people to add to their individual bowls as a garnish. Great recipe to work from. I thought it was a perfect consistency.

I love this recipe. I served it to company for my daughter's first birthday and everyone seemed to enjoy it. I also added BBQ sauce at the end for a little better flavor and consistency.

Delicious and simple. I added some basil, lavender, and oregano which were a perfect hint of flavor.

I really liked this recipe, but made a few changes to make it a main course instead of a side dish. I used brown rice penne pasta (delicious and healthy) instead of bow-tie. I didn't have any peas, but wish that I did. Also, I only had the little sweet peppers that you ca buy at Costco (red, yellow, and orange), and thought they were a great substitute for just red bell peppers. Added crushed red pepper 1/8 tsp. and 2 cloves minced garlic to the sauce just to give it a little extra kick. Then I baked some chicken brushing it very lightly with EVOO, salt, pepper, basil, and a little minced garlic. YUM!! I served this up layered--pasta, chicken, and smothered with the sauce.

Excellent recipe!! We chopped up carrots and potatoes to add to the crockpot...tasted delicious with the beef and gravy.

This is the first time I've ever made shrimp scampi...definitely a nice and easy recipe (probably not so good for your heart though!). We made it in our frying pan, and that worked great too.

We loved this recipe! To have a little less grease, I cooked the sausage in a frying pan and then drained the grease (I know, what did I need a crock pot for??) But we added the sausage, sauce and veggies to the crock pot for 6 hours and the sauce tasted amazing (I added a little more Prego). We had it over whole wheat pasta and gnocchi...very delicious.
