About this Cook
I am married, I have 2 kids. Cooking is a stress relief for me (It's the cleanup part that I don't like).
My favorite things to cook
I am constantly trying new recipes. I just love the thrill of not knowing how the dish will turn out when it is finished. My favorite things to make are desserts. They almost always turn out good.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't have any family cooking traditions. But I would like to create some as memories for my kids to cherish when they are older.
My cooking triumphs
The first real cheesecake I made was a triumph for me. It turned out great and since then I have made more that have turned out as well. Needless to say, it is my favorite dessert to make.
My cooking tragedies
This tragedy was such a dumb move on my part that I can't believe I am even posting it. I was trying to blend strawberries in the blender and for whatever reason, they would not chop. So, not thinking of the outcome, I opened the lid and tried to press them down with a metal spoon while the blender was on. As soon as the blade hit the spoon, strawberries went flying all over me and the kitchen. There are still strawberry stains on the ceiling. I certainly learned my lesson.

Mango Pina Colada Smoothie
Good, but needed something to add flavor. Maybe a little less ice and some rum?

Hazel's Meatballs
These meatballs were just okay for us. I still prefer the simple cocktail meatballs of grape jelly and cocktail sauce. Anyway,

Cheesy Italian Tortellini
I found the taste to be just average for this recipe. My family didn't care too much for the flavor. It was on the bland side.
