I spend most of my time in the kitchen. Cooking for 3 kids and a husband is quite a feat... everyone's tastes are very different. So to sit down at the table and have everyone happy...it's been a good day. I bake my own bread using a recipe from this site. I love the smell and taste of fresh bread. I love to cook dessert. All kinds... and try new things too. Chocolate is one of my favorites... no suprise there... =) For the last couple years, family has gotten together and done a christmas cookie baking day. LOVE it! Martha Stewart's 16 layer cake. It's a special request among family members. This cake is amazing! When I was first married, I used dried kidney beans in chilli. When he got home the beans were as hard as rocks so I had to pick them out. Talk about feeling stupid!
