I'm an army wife with 1 daughter and 4 step-children. I've been married for almost 5 years and its wonderful. I enjoy cooking (most of the time), watching tv, playing with my kids, reading, and doing laundry (especially when my clothes have mysterious stains and I have to figure out how to remove them... that's all the fun!!!). I love to cook southern dishes like chicken and dumplings, pot roast with gravy, cornbread (my husband's favorite), etc. I love to cook lasagna, fettucini alfredo, and any pasta that isn't too complicated. I love to bake for my kids also - cookies especially!! Going home for the holidays and helping my mother prepare dinner while she bakes the sweets. Biscuits!! My husband always tells me if I can make biscuits like his mamaw used to then I've accomplished something... after three years of trying I finally got it right!! Biscuits!! My first attempt at biscuits (well really my first 30 attempts) turned out awful. Either too hard and dry, too soft and crumbly, or just completely tasteless.
