I made this cookie for my son's 7th birthday party and was a little nervous that it wouldn't come out of the pan well or that it would be too hard. I wasn't able to flip it out of my pizza pan like another reviewer said, so I had to take the chance it would be good at the party. Luckily it was great! Very soft and good overall taste. I had leftover batter (because of my pizza pan size) so I put the rest in a silicone cake pan - which I wouldn't recommend. I wasn't able to get it done in the center and I battled getting it out of the pan. Just use a metal pan for much better results.

This was an excellent recipe. We used a very tender filet which helped. I actually added the mushrooms sliced to the pan with the filets (instead of chopped and in with the butter spread.) Presentation was wonderful and it was easy to do well.

I made this exactly as the recipe states and it was really very good. No major changes needed for our tastes and it was quick. It's now on our list of recipes that I rotate through in winter.
