Fast Chicken Soup Base

I love this base instead of a can of chicken broth!! Do not simmer the chiken bones and skin longer than 1 hour or 2 as it can get very oily!! I do simmer the veggies for a few hours and it's awesome! I've used this for all chiken based soups including Matzo ball soup! It's so great. Also can be frozen!

Italian Heroes

These were very good even though the bottom of the bread was soggy (thats why I gave it only 4 stars)!! I didn't see this problem with any other viewer. I used a crusty Italian loaf but might have taken out too much of the inside bread.

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf

I've tried a few meatloaf recipes but this one is a keeper!! Not only does it taste great, it looks great too!!! I didn't have dried minced onions so I used a handful of chopped fresh onions and I didnt wait to glaze it, I added it right before I put it in the crock for 5 1/2 hours. Great Great Great!!

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

WOW! This was great! A tip for leftover soup-I added more chicken broth to thin out the soup because it becomes real thick sitting in the fridge. It worked out well!!!!

Grandpa's Classic Coney Sauce

My husband requests this all the time...and the kids love it too. I try not to make it "hot". I also dont add celery seed (just dont have it on hand). I like this on crusty rolls. Its sooooo good!

I love this recipe!!! But, instead of the dough, I use gnocchi and I definately like that better. YOu can find it in either the freezer section or dry pasta at the store.

Apple Crumb Pie

This was really good! I found it a bit sweet but my family said NO WAY! All ingredients are on hand at home so it makes it easy to just "whip up". I added pumpkin pie spice because I had it on hand. Will make again for thanksgiving dessert!!!

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Wow...this is great! I use 1/2 Balsamic and 1/2 red wine vinegar and greek oregano. I even use it to marinate my chicken when I make gyros!

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

WOW, what a huge hit! Nothing was left and most had seconds and thirds! I added a small can of crushed pineapples & that was all I changed. I did take the advise of one reviewer and let the jello sit for a hour before layering it. I cooked the pretzel crust in a pan and transferred it into a footed glass trifle bowl (do this while its warm and let it cool in the bowl) then continued with the layers-what a great presentation!! I only gave it 4 stars because the pretzel crust was extremely hard and I had to chop it up to serve it (not that anyone minded). I will definately try and let it sit overnight as another reviewer suggested. I also suggest making it way ahead as the jello takes quite a while to set (maybe because of the crushed pineapple?).

Spinach and Rice (Spanakorizo)

I made this as a side dish with gyros. It was awesome! I did add the canned diced tomatoes in a instead of the tomato sauce and it was great! I will definately make this again when I have a big crowd!!!
