About this Cook
I am the mother of a 5 1/2 year old boy and a 4 year old girl who recently moved to a new state and am now a stay at home mom-lots of time for cooking!!
My favorite things to cook
I love to try anything new-but am careful about making recipes that are too spicy or complicated. I like easy fun recipes everyone will enjoy! My latest passion is asian cooking! And my favorite cook is Rachel Rae!

Fast Chicken Soup Base
I love this base instead of a can of chicken broth!! Do not simmer the chiken bones and skin longer than 1 hour or 2 as it can get very oily!! I do simmer the veggies for a few hours and it's awesome! I've used this for all chiken based soups including Matzo ball soup! It's so great. Also can be frozen!

Basil Tomato Soup
Excellent! I used the advise of Jen1473 and it was great! I served it with grilled cheese squares for a luncheon and it was a hit!

Italian Heroes
These were very good even though the bottom of the bread was soggy (thats why I gave it only 4 stars)!! I didn't see this problem with any other viewer. I used a crusty Italian loaf but might have taken out too much of the inside bread.
