I wanted a good oatmeal recipe and saw the great reviews this one received. I omitted the chocolate chips and added 1 cup raisins instead. The cookies are excellent. As for the salt. I only used half tsp at first and thought the extra salt would give them that extra something. I added more salt and that was it! Very much like the oatmeal cookies from North Market in Columbus OH if you've ever had those. I no longer live there so this was a great find for me. Enjoy!

Easy...tasty...I did add a little more sugar than called for. But I like my cookies sweet.

This recipe wasn't too bad to convert to family serving. The texture of the cookies was a little crumbley but overall, very tasty.
