No-Noodle Lasagna
My family really enjoys this recipe. I found it several years ago in my Quick Cooking magazine and have made it quite a bit since then. It is a little time consuming to make, but easily worth the effort. It's actually a Pillbury Bake Off winner from 1968 by Betty Taylor --not an original recipe from Mandy Moore, like it states. The original recipe calls for 1/2 lb of bulk pork sausage and 1/2 lb of lean ground beef.

Joy's Prizewinning Trifle
This was a very good trifle -I did make a few minor changes, though, after reading previous reviews. I recommend using pineapple tidbits in place of the crushed pineapple -especially if you don't want to take the time to thoroughly drain the crushed variety. Also-personal preference -but I would leave out the bananas only because they get gooey and brown very quickly. I did combine the bananas and pineapple to keep the bananas from turning brown so quickly, but this recipe does make a lot -and there's just no way the bananas can hold up past the first day. I also used cheesecake pudding mix and doubled the "filling" -was very thick. Overall a good trifle.
