My cooking tragedies
When I was young and just learning to cook, it took me forever to figure out that there IS a difference between baking soda and baking powder! I had many disasters during that time.

Tea Cakes
These are great cookies. They have a really nice, soft texture.

French Toast Casserole
Very good and easy to make. Much easier than sitting at the stove making individual slices. Tastes better, too! I just added all four tbsps of sugar and the cinnamon to the milk and egg mixture instead of sprinkling it on top, one less step.

Sweet and Sour Chicken III
Great recipe. It's great prepared just as is in the recipe. Because I like a lot of sauce, I usually use a larger can of pineapple, and increase the amount of juice and cornstarch to give it a bit more sauce. But that's just my personal preference. It is great prepared as the recipe calls.
