the house i live in is 150 years old. I have a 2 year old son and a hot husband. I've been baking since I was 9 and love to whip up treats (sometimes more healthy than others). my maternal side of the family is mennonite and paternal side is irish. some of my tastes definately originate from this like my love of good borcht and scotch broth. mmm i can modify a baking recipe a whole lot and it just works out fine. i'm really more likely to want to go out for a good maritime family restaurant roast beef dinner than to try and cook a big dinner for my family. luckily my husband likes to cook suppper. the tragedy is i need to work on my cooking.
