Me & My hubby
My little man, Ethan
About this Cook
My name is Cheryl. I am married and have one kid, a son named Ethan. Cooking is one of my passions. I also love sewing, cross stitching, crafting, music, parties, dancing, and getting together and going out with my friends.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking all kinds of things. I think pasta dishes are my favorite though. I also love to bake things. I love collecting cookbooks. And I'm always looking for new things to cook. I also love making up my own recipes. I'm lucky that I have a husband who is very open when it comes to food. He will eat anything!
My cooking triumphs
The very first Thanksgiving I did all on my own, with out the help of my mother, turned out to be a huge success! I made a spicy honey glazed turkey, that turned out devine!

Monkey Bread I
MAKE SURE TO GREASE THE PAN VERY WELL!! I made this for Christmas morning. It was FANTASTIC!!! But I didn't grease it good enough and some of the pieces stuck. It was still amazing. I used the walnuts but not the raisins.

Apple Crisp II
This was great! I did it exactly like written except I added a cup of chopped pecans to the topping mixture. It was divine!

Italian Sausage Fried Rice
This was good and easy, I just thought it was a little bland. My husband loved it though! So I'll be making it again. Next time I'll use flavored canned tomatoes and maybe some more seasonings.
