Braised Balsamic Chicken

The chicken was very moist (I used bone-in, with skin and just peeled the skin off when eating) but it wasn't flavorful enough for me. I thought the vinegar flavor wasn't strong enough. The only substitutions I made were real garlic, no rosemary and fresh thyme.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Just okay - even though I used turkey bacon and not regular, I'm not sure the regular would've made that much difference. A little bland, however, the bacon did keep the chicken moist.

White Bean Chicken Chili

This was very good! Used a rotisserie chicken I picked up at the store, frozen corn, salsa verde and omitted the coriander because I didn't have any. Topped with sour cream, crushed tortilla chips and cheddar cheese. This is similar to another recipe on the site, but I liked the flavor the salsa verde gave.

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

I made this for Thanksgiving morning. It was just okay - nothing special. Will keep looking for another recipe. The bread was too bland and the cheese didn't really do anything for the whole dish. The flavors didn't meld together nicely either.

Wonderful and simple recipe! I used 2 oz of Jack Daniels instead of 1.5 and also a pinch of cinnamon. Served with Vanilla Ice Cream and it was great! Might add sliced toasted almonds next time for something special and crunchy!

Tiramisu Layer Cake

This was really good. Everyone raved about it. Made it twice in one week. The first time, it took me a while to make, the 2nd time was much easier and quicker, which is to be expected. For those looking for a quick Tiramisu, this is your recipe. For those looking for a Tiramisu recipe, this is more like a cake and the cake IS pronounced. Nonetheless, this is a great recipe. 5 Stars!
