married with three children, one stepchild, & in the process of adopting my grandchild. (Also work full time outside the home) all things italian and mexican: SPICY!!!! I love to create and tweak recipes I find to add my own flair. every Christmas, we make "maids of honor": never could find the recipe though:it was something my mother made as I grew up. I recalled the ingredients and kept up the tradition. after my first marriage ended, I had a very tight budget to feed three growing children: I learned to create inexpensive "concoctions" that to this day have become much asked for meals. A young wife with infant twins, lack of sleep and just learning how to cook, it the first time I made Chicken Divan. An easy recipe gone horribly wrong. Thankfully hubbie choked it down and never said a word. Everytime I make it now, I have to chuckle.
