I'm a 70+ grandmother...southern roots. Widowded for about 8 years and living in Tennessee with my youngest son and his family I love all kinds of cooking...and love to try new recipes Cakes and desserts. my fried chicken is one of my best efforts..also my shrimp curry is a family favorite and my best dessert is my strawberry trifle. My best cake is the coca-cola cake and I make a really good cheesecake. Pie crusts are my downfall...can't ever seem to get a tender, flaky one.
