I am now living in Austin, Texas. Austin is wonderful and it has wonderful fine dining! I have two grown children and a senior in high school. He would be quick to claim he's grown, too! :) I like to try new recipes. My passion though is reading. Once started on a new book, it's hard to get me to do anything else! I love to cook. I look on AllRecipes.com every day for new ideas. I love to try new things. I have found some great recipes on this site and look forward to trying many more! Learning to make marshmallows!! I didn't know that when you add hot candy syrup and hot gelatin that it explodes. I had it run over the pan on to the counters and onto the floor. What a mess! It reminded me of a science experiment gone bad. I'll keep trying, though!
