Blender Hollandaise Sauce

So easy to make, and that's the best part of this recipe. To me, it was too buttery and not lemony enough, so I adjusted accordingly.

Whipped Cream

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
I used Splenda in place of sugar in an equal amount and it was perfect! I doubled the recipe to use in ambrosia for a dinner party and everyone raved over it and said they had never tasted whipped cream that was so good. It made a great dessert. In doubling, I went with about 1 1/2 t. of vanilla. Used cold glass bowl and beaters.

Lemon Poppy Seed Slices

Delicious cookies. I sliced them thin and they're crispy. I like a stronger lemon flavor than first batch, so sprinkled them w/lemon juice before cooking. Yummy! I used 2T poppy seeds.

Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Pistachios

Yum! I was searching for a way to jazz up one of my favorite, albeit kind of plain, veggies. This recipe is delicious, even though I forgot to add the nuts!

Peach Crisp III

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2006
This dessert is divine! My hubby and I had to stop overselves from eating the whole dish when it was still warm out of the oven. I used fresh peaches, and we loved it. We don't like foods overly sweet, so I also made the crisp using all long-cooking oats, no granola. I also cut down the brown sugar and used some artificial sweetener. We served it with redi-whip and it was plenty sweet. I used cashews instead of pecans.

Brown Sugar Banana Nut Bread II

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2006
This is delicious! I used half whole-wheat flour and half regular flour and it came out great; I converted to a 2-pound loaf for my bread machine. I would defnitely make it again.

Dairy Free Whole Wheat Pancakes

We made these pancakes with skim milk and a little butter instead of the soy milk. We added blueberries and diced stawberries. Absolutely delicious!

California Cole Slaw

I made this with shredded red cabbage and used white vinegar because I had it on hand. I also eliminated the salt because of restricted diet. It is fantastic! We're really enjoying it.

Honey Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2005
Just took this out of the bread machine and tasted it, and it's wonderful! I added some crushed walnuts to recipe. They go great with the honey flavor.
