ok. Probably the best cake I've made. It is really all in the technique. Having your butter, eggs and milk really makes a HUGE difference. I like to mix my cakes by hand and made sure to alternate the flour mixture and milk slowly into the butter mixure to make sure everything was incorporated. I filled these with raspberry jam and topped it with a peanut butter frosting that I made up. My friends loved these "peanut butter and jelly cupcakes" I made these in mini-muffin pans.

Chewy Sugar Cookies

mine didn't turn out as chewy as I expected them to. But they do look really cute. I made them and rolled them in different colors of sprinkles. Good cookie if you are short on time. Simple to make.

Hot Fudge Cake

So simple. I am amazed how the fudge sauce at the bottom forms. Really good with vanilla ice cream!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

By far the BEST homemade brownies I've ever made. So rich, chewy and has that perfect brownie 'crust' on the top. I had to make a few changes. I only had 3 eggs so I added a couple tablespoons of sour cream to make up for that. I also, I ran out of white sugar and used some brown sugar. I think it made it extra rich. I put mine in a 8 by 8 pan because I like them THICK!

Chewy Brownies

This might be my fault but these were EXRTEMELY sticky and I've been soaking my pan for 2 hours and brownie bits are still sticking to it. The overall flavor is really good, and i love the chewiness, but just way to sticky. Hard to cut and get out of the pan, even though i greased it.

Microwave Mississippi Mud Cake I

It was super quick. I was craving something chocolate and this fixed it. I quartered the recipe and it cooked in 5 minutes. I topped it with chocolate syrup instead of making the frosting. I cooked it in a ramekin and it came ou perfectly. I'm going to try some new variations.

Fruit Cocktail Cake

Surprisingly yummy! I chopped up the fruit cocktial a bit so there was smaller chunks in the cake. I also reduced the sugar because I didn't want it to be too sweet. I cannot believe it is non-fat. We served it with cool whip mixed with cinnamon.

Vegan Brownies

I'm trying to be vegan ( don't know how long that will last) and made these and they are so good. Very chocolate-y but a bit crumbly. My family hasn't tried them yet, and that's when I'll find out if it is really a good recipe. They don't like the whole vegan thing, so hopfeully they like it. I made 1/4 recipe because I didn't want a huge batch until I knew they were good. And they are!

Stovetop Granola

very simple and quick. I like the flavor and how easy it is. I added cinnamon and pieces of pecans. I also used part maple syrup for the honey. It was chewy and delish. Very addictive. I used half the amount of butter and it was still plenty.

so tender and light. not quite a donut, not quite a pancake, not quite a muffin. we ate ours with powder sugar, strawberries and whipped cream. the little balls are so cute and the batter is so easy to make.

Classic Gingerbread Cutouts

It tasted really good but I ended up baking it for only 6 minutes. The dough made lots of gingerbread men. I didn't have cloves but they still tasted really ginger-bready

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

so moist and easy. it is more like a batter but bakes up as a yummy and moist cookie. I havne't even tried it with frosting yet. I added less brown sugar but still plenty sweet!

Egg-Free Low-Fat Oatmeal Cookies

surprisingly very good for a healthy cookie. I put dried cranberries instead of raisins and they turned out so moist and chewy. I will probably be making this again with other variations. I'm very impressed.

Cake Mix Cookies VIII

so good! flat and chewy. just how I like it. I put a mix of white frosting and marshmallow cream in the middle to make sandwiches. they were so richa nd decadnet. Very quick to make.

Easy Fruit Cobbler

yummy batter. I used blackberries so it was really sour but that was not the recipes fault. I just put a lot of powder sugar and ice cream on it which took care of the problem!
