this is the first oatmeal cookie recipe i have ever made, and i actually have never even eaten an oatmeal cookie before so i have nothing to compare these to, but i LOVE them. i left out the raisins since im not a fan and just used a full cup of butter, however these were delicious and i had great reviews. the first time i made them though it turned into a soup basically but i think i just used too much batter on the baking pan, but the second time it was fine. they were a little bit greasy though but the taste was great.
