Living in Foster City, CA with her fiance, German Shorthair Pointer, and cat. Expecting their first child (a girl) in October 2007. Emily loves to bake, create and try out new recipes. Anything sweet. Emily was born with a inherited sweet tooth. She grew up watching her mother and grandmother bake. Pies, cakes, cookies, and candy are her absolute favorite things to bake. Watching her grandmother bake her famous chocolate chip cookies as a child is Emily's favorite cooking tradition/memory. Sampling the sweet dough, and eating the cookies fresh and hot. Anytime a recipe I create turns out to be a success. I once tried to bake a single crust apple pie. The filling essentially became apples and sweet water. Not good.
