Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
Instead of adding the soup I sauteed a package of sliced button mushrooms in butter and added 1/2 cup of cream and 1/2 cup of fat free milk then poured it into the slow cooker. I also added 1 tsp of garlic powder, a couple dashes of frank's red hot and 1 tsp of onion powder. It was very good this way. I believe it took care of the too salty problem. Otherwise I followed the recipe as indicated.

I pretty much ate all of these by myself after we carved the pumpkin. They were that good.

Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2008
I used bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs and they turned out nicely. Juicy. The potatoes on the other hand were not good at all. They had almost no flavor and were not crispy. I took them out of the oven and put them in a frying pan, sprinkled Tony's on them and made delicious home fries very quickly because they were already cooked. It does give a good starting point for any easy one pan meal.

Mocha Nut Butter Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
Very good. I used 4 teaspoons of vanilla plus 2 teaspoons of water to dissolve the coffee in. I also added an extra 1/4 c. of flour and 1 tsp of cinnamon. (I like cinnamon with chocolate.) I also mixed in some 1/2 c. mini chocolate chips. I have eaten too many of these today!!!

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
I have always enjoyed ginger snaps and gingerbread but have been hesitant to make it on my own. I am so glad I tried this one. It is so easy and very good. I don't think I will have to try anymore gingerbread recipes. This is it!

Pineapple Cobbler

This wasn't good to me. The pineapple just doesn't seem to go in a cobbler and I usually love pineapple.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2006
this was great. we liked it best with carrots and celery. the canned chicken was good because it fell apart in the dip. the cheddar cheese was good in it too. i actually mixed in some extra cayenne to make it hotter.

Cool Whipped Frosting

Reviewed: May 16, 2005
This is delicious!!! I used the larger sized pudding box and 1 and 1/4 cups of milk and an 8oz tub of the extra creamy cool-whip( this is what i had on hand) and it came out beautiful! Delicious flavor and texture. I will never use another frosting again- i can't wait to try chocolate and coconut cream.
